- Most students participate in Community College mechatronics and related training tuition-free through Virginia’s G3 and FastForward programs
- Virginia Community Colleges offer two-year associate degrees in Engineering that enable students to apply their credits to university engineering degrees including electrical/computer engineering
- Regional high schools are equipped to engage students in mechatronics and industrial maintenance career training through industry credentialing and dual enrollment programs
